Reliability Breeds Loyalty from Pet Food Supplier
The reliability of Hino trucks and ease of servicing has won over another trucking customer, while helping with the important duty of feeding man's best friends.
Victorian Petfood Processors of Camperdown in Victoria has been producing food for the dogs and cats of Australia since 1998.
The family-run company has a fleet of 27 trucks, a growing proportion of which are Hinos.
They carry out the core work of the business - the collection of feedstock from farms around Victoria for the production of pet food - using a fleet of trucks, each equipped with a tipping body and a hydraulic winch.
According to Ray Rivett, part-owner of the business, reliability of the truck fleet is paramount.
In a typical day the Victorian Petfood Processors trucks cover many kilometres in both urban and rural settings, and up to 90 people (depending on the season) employed by the company rely on the flow of raw materials for their livelihoods.
Mr Rivett, who organises vehicle requirements for the business, said that the Hino product and the service support network from dealer Barry Maney Hino is what makes them their preferred supplier.
"Their service network is second to none," Mr Rivett said.
"From a convenience point of view, the fact that Mora Mechanical in nearby Cobden has become a Hino 2S Dealer further cements our relationship with the Barry Maney group.
"Our Hino fleet has been reliable and fault-free from day one, and having one port of call for sales and hassle-free service is terrific," he said.
Jim Cornolo, Hino Dealer Principal at the Barry Maney Group in Mount Gambier, said that he often hears similar comments.
"Along with the popularity of Hino's standard safety features, low 'whole of life' costs and reliability, dealer support is very important to our customers," Mr Cornolo said.
"Victorian Petfood Processors has been a loyal and fantastic customer to deal with and we are committed to providing them with the highest level of service into the future," he said.
