The first six months of 2026 have broken records for Hino’s expanded range of heavy-duty 700 Series with orders and deliveries already surpassing those of the entire 2025.
"This significant growth highlights the increasing demand for our flagship heavy-duty truck range across a broad spectrum of customer applications with increasing interest from general freight, refrigerated transport, construction, waste management, traffic management and civil works operators," said Richard Emery, President and CEO of Hino Australia.
"Deliveries to customers in the first six months of 2026 have already surpassed the total number of deliveries across the whole of 2025, setting a new 700 Series record.
"Customer demand continues to strengthen with orders in the first six months of 2026 are already triple that of the same time last year," he said.
The sustained growth in orders reflects strong market confidence in the expanded 700 Series range and its ability to meet the diverse requirements of Australian heavy-duty truck operators.
"With its Euro 6 emissions, the Hino 700 Series combines proven reliability, advanced safety technology and operational efficiency across a broad range of applications," he continued.
"With our expanded range of driveline and axle configuration options, customers can choose a 700 Series truck that suits their operational requirements, delivering greater productivity and improved efficiency in demanding working environments."
700 Series customers can choose from a new Hino M112 12-speed automated manual transmission (AMT), a six-speed Allison 3200 true automatic Page 2 of 3 MEDIA RELEASE transmission, six-speed Allison 4400 true automatic transmission or the popular ZF 16-speed AMT, the TraXon TX 2441TO, which features the market-leading ZF intarder.
The transmissions are paired with either the proven A09C or E13C engines, growing the 700 Series line-up to 31 models.
